Chaz, I understand the general media's love affair with Europe, but I have never put together the WSJ's angle. They have always been the last bastion for market forces, yet they peddle this anti-Q slant consistently, even in the editorial page. That part I have never understood. When I try to provide crash courses in Econ/Fin, I generally point to a daily review of the WSJ as the next best thing to the course work itself. Maybe I need to sit down with someone on the Journal staff and try to understand the concept. Believe me, they belittle Europe on a daily basis, just not on this one subject. Cooters

Please provide a email adress to rip this guy a new AHOLe. AN article like that deserves a severe responce. It is purposefully being misleading. Here are some fact for the idiot journalists. 1)Institutions have increased their % of ownership in Qcom 2)Insiders are keping taxable options 3)Alex Cienna lowered his short term rating from 1h to 2h whille maintaining long term 1H. Less then bearish IMHO 4)MicheAL CHIANG AND ED SNYDER dont deserve jobs as analysts. Look at their track record. 5)Qcom said earnings will beat estimates, and chip sales will stall because of seasonality and turnover. 6)royalties which this dunder head questioned were at record levels In conclusion Journalists have now lowered themselves below Lawyers on my list of useless parasites.
