The other theory is that the after hours price is manipulated by big money so they can unload/snatch up shares the next day more easily.

Either way, I'm led to think the stock will take a rest tomorrow. I could be wrong.


Hard to draw a conclusion about afterhours trading. It could be the retail traders who keep buying afterhours, especially on Island ECN. JDSU usually shows up as one of the most active according to trading volume at one of the online brokers.

I think you are wrong about JDSU taking a rest tomorrow. I think it will rest on the weekend. <ggg>

there is quite obviously manipulation after hours. i've found it quite common that some wild price anomaly traces to a 100 share trade at the last moment - or even on a last minute "bid" at a price way below the last trade.
one should always question the volume and timing of the so-called "trade" or "bid" by these after hours MuxerFuxers.
