Couple of theories

Some reasons why these guys aren't willing to wait.

Dave K. stated technicals, a valid reason. How long will the nasdaq be able to sustain a rocket shot, while at the same time GNET keeps underperforming as if it were in the Dow instead?

Volume for the last 2 weeks has been higher on down days, and lower on up days. Just another indication of disinterest among investors (can't really say indifference on Wall St., as institutions are out of the picture, which in turn does not lend legitimacy in the minds of lots of small investors, sadly) as the overall volume is still trending below average and has been for quite a while now. This is in direct proportion to news.

Other reasons some aren't waiting, is probably the ingrained sense that the stock tends to tank after news. Especially earnings news. Once the news is out, what is next? How much longer will the next news black out be, what will sustain the pop of excitement? These are important questions.

Waited here for news next month definitely, but with one wary eye and one hopeful one!
