Thanks Dan! Called Home Depot, and they sell the stuff for $59 per 1000', which really impressed me. I picked myself up some, a good crimping tool, 25 ends, and some plates. Between myself and my patient contractor, we should do OK.

UTP stands for Unshielded Twisted Pair, it at least as twisted as any other type of networking cable <g>. I know, it was probably just a typo or brain fart, I had to clarify that detail for anyone lurking about.
