Percentage of Institutional Ownership: 4Q/99 3Q/99 Intel 50.4% 51.8% AMD 55.8% 45.3% source: insidertrader.com It will be interesting when the 1Q/00 13F filings are released if AMD has over 60% institutional ownership. While the volume on AMD has been light recently, I suspect that if it keeps performing on the fundamentals AMD will have as many all time highs in 2Q/00 as you have been proud to report Intel has achieved this quarter. The smaller the float, the greater the chance for significant upward spikes in share price upon the release of positive news.
