excellent write-up, TRJ.

The levels of which incompetence can rise to continues to amaze me. In a way though, i'm not sure if it's writers who are to be blamed. Does anyone bother to check these articles before they're ok'd for printing? I guess it goes to show quality control is not job number 1 at this publication.

Yuk! Pretty disgusting.

OT Formatting Refresher - TRJ, you have probably received a note or two on formatting via private mail (where this note belongs), but in case you don't have PM figured out, here is another. Italics, bold, and fixed font can be done using HTML coding. I am putting spaces inside "< >" so you can see the coding. Take the spaces out.

< i > to start italics.
< /i > to end italics.

< b > to start bold.
< /b > to end bold.

< pre > to start fixed-space font.
< /pre > to end fixed-space font.

And you can pick up upper lever ASCII characters here. Just use the code in the far left column to get symbols such as ½ and ¬ and ü.

grace.carrick.pps.pgh.pa.us

So, this is bold, and this is italic.

This is in fixed-space font.

And this is not.

----------- here is the coding of the above ------------
----------- with spaces added inside the <> ------------

So, < b >this is bold< /b >, and < i >this is italic< /i >.

< pre >
This is in fixed case.
< /pre >
And this is not.
-----------------------------------------------------------

And, you can mix formatting.

And that's my 1ó½.

Thanks for your insights!

Regards,
Yaker

TRJ, your posts and analysis are greatly appreciated. This shows exactly why Business Week is just a moronic contrary indicator -- I don't think they intentionally set out to get it "wrong," they are just intellectually sloppy; and moreover they are writing because they have to have "something to say" that appears to differ from what has been said before. Add that up and you get intellectual mush that cannot be used to make any investment decision whatsoever. As for Snyder -- what do you make of a supposed "analyst" who issues a 40-page report (or something like that) on 3-G that doesn't even mention HDR? The only conclusion is that he is a robot who values his paycheck more than he does intellectual honesty.
