Talked to Scott, the trading manager at myTrack this morning. He says they are fixing it. Will see. Tried all day yesterday to talk to humans there... no avail. Tom

*MYTRAC Lets start a mail in campaign, send them smelly cats! Or just do a 1-2 hour boycott mid-day on a friday. But put the word out and get our technical ducks in a row. IE each user that boycotts MyTrack has to download a trial version of ping plotter and tracks their speed during normal hours a few times and a few times during the boycott. Then we compile the speed results to see what percentage change in speed we achieve by our boycott. This would give us some real time satisfaction ratings. Which might draw some press or at least some attention on SI. Change is what we need though, and that means another MM or become affliated with another ECN or two. Think about a real time barometer of the % of Tracs customers that are happy. Look out Gomez, we could do broker ratings by getting customers to change their trading patterns for a day to express their degree of satisfaction. While I can only conjecture about all of the causes of their problems. Here is how mytrack worked for me this morning. Placed order to buy 500 @ 4 3/8 stock traded there and then went past my buy. Tried to cancel, can't cancel, because HRZG's hasn't confirmed order. Stock moves up to 4 1/2, trades there for another 3 minutes, still no cancel. Stock starts going back down, still no confirm or cancel. Stock moves down to 4 1/16, Confirmation of purchase at 4 3/8, HRZG on the bid at 4 1/16. Hung out for awhile and sold for 1/8 through island. I'll be dammed if I will give HRZG back those shares. It would seem to me a simple solution would be to specify take HRZG out of the execution loop in the software. I would rather have no fills available and know it immediately and be able to cancel it than waiting for 5 -10 minutes for HRZG to confirm orders or cancel them. I will say though, I made a few trades this afternoon, and HRZG gave me two fills. I just couldn't resist going into the MYTRAC chat rooms and playing a quick game of help with the spin masters. I asked them for help, they said sure how can we help. I said, I hurt myself falling out of my chair when HRZG gave me a fill and confirmation within 1 min. NITE & ISLAND usually work fine for me, but I trade mostly small & mid cap NASDAQ. I have tried to trade some BB's with HRZG and if I don't get filled the first time I usually don't mess with them. I think adding additional after hours capabilites and other MM's or a direct ECN on the mytrack platform would be the solution needed. I have my MBTrading application filled out and need to mail it this weekend. Just read about the next version of QCHARTS will give you afterhours charting capabilities. Sorry to ramble on, about MyTrac! They make my blood boil too!
