Trading halt at the request of the Exchange. Not as good
as a halt at the request of the company. I assume that
the Exchange wants to know why the stock is going up.
They never seem to concern themselves with stocks that
are going down. I wonder if this is a Canadian thing?
Stocks going up! Got to check that out. Can't have stocks
going up. What the heck, 24 cents! Can't have stocks at
24 cents. Stocks drop from 31 dollars to 9.95 (TRP). No
problem there.

Usual reply is "The company knows of no reason for the
recent increase in price and volume." Oh, okay. Just
wondering. Don't want another BreX and if a stock goes
from 6 cents to 24, could be a run up in price. Might
even go back to 65 cents.

Could be that SPQ has property in the James Bay lowlands.
DeBeers is taking a bulk sample from a pipe in the area.
Could generate a little excitement to have property in
the area.

I see that the CNDX is so worried about penny mining
companies and shells going to dot com status that they're
investigating. They don't want any "speculation". I thought
that was what the CNDX was about.
