I agree with you Jess. I have not watched stocks movements this closely for very long, so I don't have a lot of experience to go on. But, it does look like a lot of manipulation.

By the way, this was posted on the Yahoo board about the presentation yesterday:

"I cannot give a blow by blow as I listened to it yesterday on my DSL service!
But here is what I took away
1) Basic intro of that DSK is
2) Basic intro into AWRE's role as a software developer rather than a chipmaker and that they sell to the chipmakers (B2B)
3) Stats on chip set sales last year and in 2000 (estimates) i.e. 4mm/ 8 1/2mm
4) Stress that this is NOT just North America but is world wide business
5) Explaining roles of various companies in total industry and which are AWRE customers
6) Competition for AWRE...mostly Alcatel...
7) Need for AWRE to be quick to follow industry needs
8) Basic financial info on AWRE..7 positive growing quarters, no debt, positive cash flow build
9) Sources of revenue explained
10) Some stats on AWRE's latest % of COs etc I heard this was raised from 35-40% recently but other stats too diff to hear but very confident tone by Mowberg
11) Mention of INTC but "we are not at liberty to announce their plans for them".....i.e. yes we are in bed with them but they control the PR(that's my words)
12) Seemed there was little time left at the end but there were no questions.
I think overall it was v good and introduced AWRE to many new analysts who must return to their offices and do more background research. SO maybe more coverage coming...
Hope that helps and if I missed anything important please somebody add.
i.e. I classify it as getting the message out rather than really new announcements but shows a continuing business execution IMO. "

Jess, I agree with your thoughts. If market is strong into close I see more short covering today.
