2 out of the three raises wouldn't have affected the GDP results. I don't see that those numbers as vindication of his views.

What is the point of increasing interest rates if it is not to
1) decrease economic activity
2) decrease stock prices of high-fliers by offering a less risky alternative.

At the moment, the fed seems powerless to effect what they want. Targeting stock prices is criminal.
