If my memory serves me I believe they were talking about marginability. I suspect that the reasoning went something like this. If you can't margin the stock then borrowed money by speculators or daytraders will be lessened. That would lessen the threat of margin calls during erratic trading sessions which would undermine a stock in its transitional stage from puppy to BIG DOG. Does it make sense in JDX's case? I have no idea.
