I'd agree that you can make higher returns on smaller companies like AMCC and PMCS than CSCO, AMAT, and MSFT. But let's say, hypothetically, that you were investing two or three million. Would you want all of it in smaller companies?

Also, I have a brother-in-law who works for Cisco. He has some feel for how well the company is doing. I have to actively talk him out of buying more shares, as he is now so over-weighted in that one company. I own CYMI and AMAT because the prospects are so very good right now for the semiconductor equipment manufacturers.

MSFT I've had for years & years and have a great gain in, but it hasn't done anything for the past year or so. I'm thinking of selling it.
