The Citrix solution includes a server component, a network protocol component and a client software component. The more clients the better. Simple appliances that don't have a way to introduce new software (floppy, CD, etc) will have to have Citrix ICA built into the device software, which is basically the operating system. This announcement is just another piece of news suggesting that CTXS has become the standard. The Citrix ability to operate on narrow bandwidth may be especially important to these devices.
