Just caught the end of a piece on CNBC on wireless data. Analyst from CIBC World Markets said he did not see wireless data being much of a market until speeds get up to PC modem speeds, 28.8 and over. He said once 2.5G and 3G available, we should see real growth in this area.

Let's see, 1X = 64k and HDR = up to 2.3meg. I guess this will qualify.

Engineer,

A friend of mine said that 1X and 3X use QPSK. Is this true? I thought it was using some higher modulation type. Also, what does HDR use?

Thanx,
