Democrats have always been the defenders of civil liberties......that's why they are called "liberals" cause they are liberal in what they will accept. Conservatives, on the other hand, tend to want the status quo to stay the same and are adverse to change. Give me an example of a Democrat interfering in the "behind the bedroom door" privacy standard. A great example of a conservative is Dr. Laura......call her up and ask her if she gets involved with what's happening behind the bedroom door! LOL
