One new stock that I recent took a starter position in is MSCC, "Microsemi". I'd urge you to take a look at it. They have a diverse set of electronic component businesses from flip-chip packages to under sea fiber optics components. They were previously mainly a supplier to the US defense industry, but now they are supply key component to the US auto industry, the Cell phone handset and the new handheld web browser appliances, such as the one that is being developed by Transmeta.

I didn't understand the drup stocks either, then someone mentioned imcl at 22. I then realized I should learn something about drugs. Here's what I learned. They are going up big time and are very profitable.
