Market Prediction: INDU closes easily below 10,000 today. Tomorrow morning it gaps down in heavy volume as many predictably sell because of the way-too-obvious signal. This marks the bottom. IMHO, and I'm probably wrong...

Yaacov. What a small world when you have the internet!!! gg. Yes, that was that little village, Sirmione. We have plenty of pictures from that area. We stayed overnight in a Hotel called Leonardo de Vinci when we completed our trip around the Lake. Wonderful area. We were in Germany on Black Monday and when we went practically broke, *well, almost) my wife did not feel like traveling anywhere at that time. But then we did and had a great time. Msft. Analysts are divided when it comes to Msft. If there is no settlement it will still be some time before anything would happen. I think windows 2000 is the most important thing for Msft right now. A little strange when you think that the next software comes out later in the year. It looks like I bought a bit too early. Um. Down over 3 today. It also looks like my prediction of around 9800 for the DOW has happened. Now let's hope that sanity in the DOW returns on Monday. This is the fifth time in a row that Friday ended on the down side and 4 of them in the order of minus over 200 points. Something like 280, 240 etc. Maybe I will find something to buy on Monday. Some of those stocks look pretty cheap at this time even if they are from the old economy. gg. Have a nice weekend. Those 4 police officers in New York were cleared of all charges in that unfortunate immigrant shooting case. I am sure you heard of it over there. Sonny

Yaacov. Sirmione. Coming back to this conversation. I guess you fig. out that I was NOT there in Tourist season. It was right after Black Monday in 87. So it was in October. But we had wonderful weather. But you are right. There was NO snow. They don't get snow there do they? Just in the Alps in the background? Anyhow. I just got in and thought about this while I checked some news on the net. Look at CMRC on Monday. Great deal with those big 3 car cos. Could give you a nice trade. I may buy some more myself for trading purposes. Sonny
