I agree that this is a market crying for an inflection point. And sooner or later, it will get it. There is already a bear market in most of the NYSE stocks and now it has extended to even the growth stocks in the Dow like MRK, JNJ, KO etc. I am slowly adding to my positions in those stocks and will double my positions when all hell breaks loose (I liked your comment about the sometime-in-the-future congressional hearings about how the stock-market manipulations ruined the little guy).

Btw, it is not just the Clinton administration that is spinning the story. It is everybody else too. Have you heard of Bush or McCain or even Forbes say anything about the stock-market mania? Not me! They are all going along with the game, just as the entire Congress talks about a "budget surplus", when it is obvious to anybody looking at the climbing national debt that there is no surplus!
