>Kailash, if the manipulators fail, all hell will break loose imo.

If they totally fail and lose control, say hello to $1000 per ounce gold and $2000 per ounce palladium. We saw what happened with palladium yesterday, they changed the rules to say "Palladium cannot trade up anymore. Sorry guys."

If the market maniupaltors fail, you better say goodbye to capitalism. Practically every clown in america has taken out a ditech 125% home equity loan to buy Yahoo shares.

The wealth destruction will be so severe that anyone who was on record as being short a stock and profiting from the destruction will be hunted down as the first scapegoats.

The obvious thing to happen is a sector rotation from the Nasdaq to Nyse blue chips. It's obvious the Dow 10,000 has to be defended and there's not enough money to keep both sectors up.

The crisis maximization strategy would be to keep pumping the Nasdaq and just letting the Nyse fall. I mean, it's obvious we're headed to 5000 before we even take a break.

Place your bets, gentlemen! Get ready to be whiplashed.
