Interesting take on genomics companies on marketwatch.com. Notes that cap of the genomic leaders approaches $60 billion, which may appear expensive, until you factor in AOL itself is capitalized on the order of $135 billion. BTW, AOL has 2 billion shares out. Take a look at how many shares that INCY, CRA, AFFX, HGSI, MLNM, MYGN, CRGN, GLGC... have outstanding....maybe 1/10 of AOL.
