Patricia, the Democrats have controlled both houses of congress and the Presidency on more than one occasion in the last 30 years. Additionally, the leader of your party, won't even let gays serve in the armed forces openly. Looks to me like your party abandoned "gay rights" causes a long time ago and now wants to pay lip-service to it in order to suck in some PAC dollars. Otherwise, they would have passed gay marriage legislation a long time ago. After all, they controlled congress for the better part of 40 years. What happened? Michael
