It had company. ALTR, XLNX and AMAT down considerably today. Profit taking end of month? Moving money into the more mo-mo hot chips - RFMD, AMCC, VTSS??

Last Friday was like today, many sellers. Last week's chart looks like this week's. Even though there was a large price drop today, volume was not huge in relation to that drop, just slightly above average. Institutional trading was much lower today than usual -- like last Friday -- which gave the daily traders more influence on the price.

Buyers return next week.
