I'm going to go out on a limb here. Today will be the last time we see MSFT at these prices. By the end of next week I expect MSFT to be near $100. Starting Monday, we're going up!!!

You don't get it. Nowadays not only daytraders, but also star fund managers are avoiding issues with foreseeable earning stream. All it takes is some 'sound great ideas' (but might never work!) and make a penny or two hear and there to make issues sexy. If you underperform, you will face tremendous selling pressure. I know several hot fund managers who are avoiding issues with real earnings because of truly fear that they will miss numbers. They love issues that no one can use any models to describe valuation.

So this is the game that is being played on the street. If you buy value stocks, you will underperform the market by a mile. And hot $$ will do sector rotation every several months. A handful of hot issues are on daytrader's radar screen 6 1/2 hours a day. You will see DOW keep dropping (9300 should be a strong support) and the valuation divergence between NYSE and NASDAQ issues will become heaven and earth. Maybe then we will see a panic buying of so called value issues and a serious correction in the tech.

How long can the game keep going? Or how long will Nasdaq index trade higher than DOW index?

larry!
