SC, there are some who think TPJ make take no more than 3 to 6 WEEKS not months to complete his findings of law. Many feel TPJ has already completed his findings of law in his mind and now he only needs to put it on paper. TPJ has been anti-MSFT from day one and I'd say he'll be done sooner rather than later.

I think for MSFT shareholders it's best we get it over with as soon as possible. If I'm not mistaken, the Friday that TPJ released his findings of facts, MSFT was trading at about the same price it is today. MSFT stock went as low as $85 and change the following Monday and slowly but surely started to climb.

I can't imagine MSFT stock will fare any worse than it did back in November when it's a foregone conclusion that TPJ's findings will not be MSFT friendly. At least back in November, there was a glimmer of hope that he would be impartial. This time around we know he will not.

All aboard!! The Redmond Express is leaving on Monday.

Beep Beep, Choo Choo, MSFT is coming through!!

SC and All: Although Jackson has his mind made up he will have to do some real finagling to put his decision in legal parlance using case law to justify coming down against MSFT.There has been no tying and the copyright argument is a good one not to mention that the natural monopoly held by MSFT is one borne of internal development and not buying up the competition. Competition has been promoted and the consumer has been served. Once he figures out how to turn his cow's ear into a silk purse through some convoluted reasoning we will see his "verdict". HOWEVER I think he will take his time as that is the greatest penalty he can inflict on MSFT which he hates with a passion. This will also give DOJ/MSFT more time to rescue him from further Appellate overturn and embarrassment which is a certainty. I say he takes his own sweet time. A quick decision would have to either ignore the facts or see that case law is on the side of MSFT. I think he fears doing the former and cannot bring himself to do the latter because of his pique against MSFT. JFD
