By the way, many have said here that McCain's true grit POW experience does not by itself qualify him to be President--well, of course I agree and no one ever said otherwise. As McCain himself said to Ted Koppel the other night (to paraphrase): "I would hope it [the war hero thing] only earns me some consideration. After that, what I did after the war, and what I say and do now, is what people should judge me by." You know, he comes across as so sane and good-natured and pleasant and articulate and intelligent and weighty, don't you just love the guy? (VBG!)

Brian P. #1. I haven't seen that web site you speak of but, what makes you think he is disturbed just because he doesn't like McCain? I, personally, admire McCain's record as a POW, and the manner with which he handled himself but, I still do not believe he is not presidential material. I submit that your decision that the vet is disturbed, is because he disagrees with you. If so, there is a multitude of folks around here that are disturbed.

#2, If you think you have blazed some sort of trail, you are dreaming. You are traveling down a well worn road that has seen many go before you. And I mean traveling "down" in every sense of the word. Don't break your arm patting yourself on the back. ~H~
