Re: "Intel has more chip-set woes "

Another Blunder on your part, Stevie by the same name. This is old news and inconsequential anyway. The highend users use DRDRAM anyway. This is only a problem for SDRAM with ECC. It does not affect DRDRAM systems. Sorry to disappoint you.

Actually I read that Wednesday, old news, and it's actually a good thing.

Intel needs challenges to keep them sharp, I don't want them to go lose their paranoia and they will if all they do is set around and count profits.

Maybe a decent competitor would help then stay sharp but then again who can compete with all that R&D money they have?

You ever think of throwing in the towel on that loser you back, doesn't it ever get old being on the bottom? It's going to age you, look at Jerry, he's really only 35.

Stevie - Re:"Intel has more chip-set woes"

Intel reports on chipset errors and makes corrections.

AMD prefers the Cover Up approach.
