"PC makers attribute the faster time line to greater supplies of the 800MHz processor, introduced Dec. 20.

Dell Computer Corp. (Nasdaq: DELL), which is now quoting 10-day lead times on Dimension PCs with the 800MHz Pentium, is hoping to get those times down to its norm of three to five days over the next two weeks, company officials said. "

Well Tenchusatsu,

the DELL webpage must be in error if P3-800 systems are shipping sooner than the posted 30 day wait.

I can come to that conclusion, but no one other than myself wanted to consider it.

Tench,

Is there any publicly available info on work Intel is doing on a 128 bit MP?

I'm thinking along the lines of what would be necessary for the X-Box to compete with the Sony Playstation and who might manufacture the processor and (RD)RAM.
