Here's the latest on how the sell signal is working for me.

I sold half of my portfolio on Bob's advice, which was primarily mutual funds, but also a few stocks.

As of the close on 2/25/00, I am 3.0% better on the half I sold by selling than I would have been by holding...hardly significant.

On the half of my portfolio I did not sell, I am about 0.5% unfavorable...here again...just in the noise level.

I am thinking...if the S&P 500 continues towards Bob's prediction of >-20%, the NASD will eventually crumble. If and when it comes down, it will come down hard. If that happens, we will be very glad we sold. If not, have not lost anything and gained a little.

Bob said this will take a while to sort it all out...so relax...it's early in the game.
