Xerox and Motorola to Offer Wireless Document Solution for Business
Customers

MobileDoc(TM) Provides Remote Control of Documents with the PageWriter(R) 2000X and
Future WAP-Enabled Devices

ROCHESTER, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 25, 2000-- Xerox Corporation (NYSE:XRX - news) and Motorola Inc. (NYSE:MOT - news) today
announced that Xerox MobileDoc(TM)software has been certified for the PageWriter©2000X and TimePort P930 interactive communicators as part of a
comprehensive software package to enterprise customers. The two companies also plan to include support of MobileDoc on Motorola phones that use
wireless application protocol (WAP) technology and to integrate MobileDoc capabilities with Motorola WAP servers and gateways.

Based on new Xerox-developed technology, MobileDoc gives mobile professionals the ability to control and distribute documents residing on the enterprise
server through a handheld device. For example, customers using Motorola's PageWriter 2000X or TimePort P930 can use the device to send critical
information sitting on their office server to any e-mail address or fax machine in the world.

``Motorola sees a great deal of untapped demand in many industries, such as the financial and manufacturing sectors, for the enhanced capabilities that
MobileDoc offers,' said Janeice Webb, senior vice president of Motorola. ``The collaborative efforts of Xerox and Motorola allow both companies to offer
mobile professionals in these sectors the services they desire on a wide range of platforms.'

``Both Xerox and Motorola are recognized as leaders in the technology marketplace. By leveraging both companies' technological expertise and their
understanding of market needs, we can offer customers world-class solutions tailored to meet their business and communication requirements,' said Ranjit
Singh, senior vice president and general manager of iXerox. ``As mobile communication becomes critical to an organization's success, Xerox wants to ensure
that our customers have a wide range of MobileDoc capable devices to choose from. Our relationship with Motorola allows us to offer them that choice.'

iXerox is a new Xerox division focused on bringing to market Internet-related technology developed in Xerox' worldwide research labs.

The PageWriter 2000X's widespread success in the United States and its flexible operating system, WISDOM(TM), makes it an ideal platform from which to
offer MobileDoc. The integration of Xerox' technology allows Motorola to offer customers even more value from the PageWriter 2000X.
