President Clinton likely to visit Satyam while in HyderabadFresh US team for city on March 5 Hyderabad: The much-talked about visit of US President Bill Clinton to Hyderabad will gain further momentum with the arrival of second White House advance party here on March 5. Highly placed sources in the government told Deccan Chronicle that the US team will spend two days in the city to finalise the President's itinerary. "We have received information about the visit of the second US advance party and they are likely to finalise the President's programmes," a senior official said on Friday. With Clinton's visit to Hyderabad a foregone conclusion, the State government has geared up various departments to prepare the needed agenda for discussion with the visiting trade delegations. The Confederation of Indian Industry and other trade organisations besides several government departments have been informed about the visit. "The picture will be clear with the arrival of the second advance party. The government is gearing up to the visit," the official disclosed. The first 15-member White House advance party belonging to various agencies of the US visited Hyderabad on February 7 after visiting Goa. Besides scouting the star hotels for the possible stay of President Clinton and his entourage, the team, which split into groups visited the Twins project at Banjara Hills, Hitec city, Indo-American Centre for International Studies, Satyam Technology centre at Bahadurpally and Care centre at Fatehpur.
