How will multiple protocols in a single device be helpful to Citrix ? Esp. since many other parties are trying to bring thin-client to the public attention. Such as ASPs.

As Luke mentioned, creating a larger market makes everyone's piece of the pie bigger. In the case of the ASPs, many of them are using Citrix's ICA.
