But you have to share your dd <gg>.
Are you related to Dancelot?

Uncle Frank,

First, not to be too effusive, but I love this space. What goes on here is truly amazing as evidenced by Garyx's snyopsis of the ELON story. The RFM promises on page xxi of the Introduction that I can "readily acquire 'medium' knowledge both of the high-tech industry and of investment principles." Today, I consider my knowledge of tech to be on the low end of that medium scale. I marvel at a certain carpetologist and wonder how the hell he does it! Even still, I am encouraged by this thread.

About ELON, Unclewest has laid out and defended a compelling case for it's inclusion in the W&W portfolio. My reason for not posting: fear of presenting to a group of people who collectively have forgotten more than I know about technology, period. Or, in plainspeak, cowardice. Besides, I knew if I procrastinated long enough, Unclewest would lead the Echelon phalanx.

Thanks for your kind words, and I promise, I'll be here a while. There will be other opportunities to present. I have these other shiny pebbles that I'm subjecting to GG analysis.

Finally, not related to Dancelot, but I must admit he's become one of my "how-to-invest-then-retire-well-and-enjoy-life" role models. Along with many others on this board.
