Uncle Frank I believe I read about them here ::-)) The first was floated by LindyBill ? the second - just can't think who but this was in connection with GMST, when it was trading in the 70s pre-split. The person had suggested that he (or she) put a buy order about 10% below and let it sit for 3 days, and if it didn't pan out then just go ahead and buy it at the market. I think the person credited this method with some 70% success rate. Personally, I have not bothered to try such timings because I am not very good at it. Regards Dinesh
