Three years is a long time for Wall Street to be wrong. Your comparisons don't spell out the story. Go back into 1997 and 1998. You'll find the story (and Barnes' high) there.

Amazon is stronger than ever. That's the point today.

Bearded One - I like the old companies, too. With my huge Nas profits, in the last month I've been getting into CAT, MMM, JNJ, MZ, BRKA, CA, FNM, JPM, LMT and AOL. But, I'm also still buying/trading B2B, Inets, and based on the GREAT INFO on this thread (and the great posters!), things like CDTS, SCON, PHON and NPSP. And holding CHKP, QCOM, CSCO, CMRC, MSFT, ARBA, ORCL, BVSN, RDWR, etc, etc, etc.

The thing about the information age is - information really kills dogmatic thinking (or the dogmatic thinker, take your pick)!
