>> it may take me a while to get into the swing of things.

You can speed up the process by coming to San Diego and joining Dancelot's party at Tio Lios. He'll show you how to swing.

Face it, Wedgie; the reason you drive a Mercedes is because the logo goes well with your Armani wardrobe.

I hope you people don't mind my posting here. I know I'm rather new to the SI. You all seem like real likeable people and I like the kidding sense of humor you all have. I'm just trying to get more comfortable with talking with you all.
when are you going to
learn that german engineering is by far the finest?

I wish I could second that statement. I had bought a new 318i back in 1984. It had big defect in the paint on the hood that could only be seen at night under lights. It looked like they had buffed out some defect and it just didn't have the same shine to it. I paid allot of money for that car and thought I deserved first rate quality. BMW refused to do anything about it. I sold the car and decided I would never again buy another BMW. About 7 years later I heard on the news that some guy in So. Carolina had won a class action suit against BMW for the same defect and many were to be paid. If I had known, I would have gotten in on that...
I like you all's bubbamobiles....and I hope you the best in enjoying them. As for me, I do now drive a very nice f250. But when I buy another new, it will have to be a toyota...either Land Cruiser, or Tundra truck. I had a little toy truck for 13 years in so cal. Was the best vehicle I ever owned. I got more for the money out of that thing than any vehicle I've ever owned. I think the Japanese give us the best quality for the money that we can buy.
