A question to this thread. Is there any connection between the technology QCOM has/is developing and a once highly touted wireless data technology by a company out of Texas in the early to mid nineties...Spectrum Information Technology?

Thanks in advance...

Regards,
LG

PS: Today's trading range between 120-150 for Qcom is a trading range of 15-18.70 on a pre-split basis. Remember that QCOM split 2 for 1 in
early 1999, and then 4 for one at the end of 1999. Remembering these facts keeps the perception of us old-timers on an even keel, even when
we read the new old Qcom threads and the new new Qcom thread.

Don't you mean that the trading range of QCOM today of 120-150 is more like 960-1200? It was an 8:1 split, not an 8:1 merge.

A very thoughtful post, nice. The 1000 shares you traded, did you do better trading them as opposed to just holding?
Thanks
Ed
