Right now JDSU has 357M shares oustanding. After the March split, the numbers of shares will be around 720M. Add ETEK to the equation, then you'll have 900M shares. So there is enough shares for another 2:1 split which I think will come when the year-end (6/30/00) results are announced.

Here is the history of JDSU splits:

4-Jun-96 [2:1], 13-Nov-97 [2:1], 27-Jul-99 [2:1], 30-Dec-99 [2:1]

How do we take advantage of the situation? Options my friend, options. OPM. OPM. Remember this is the new age of the world economy. Forget Phillip Morris, forget P&G. Look instead at PUMA, TROY (check out the thread on SI) and the next in line for X-mas 2000: TIVO.

Good Luck investing to each and all.

Paul

Zhaohui Li -- "Authorized" shares are not the same as "issued".
