Skeeter, they were building inventories and holding these off the markets when prices dipped so low, they could not sell at a break even, not talking about profits, but right now, I do not think that is the case with RDRAM, I understand that DELL has locked out almost all of Samsung production (still only in the 2 MM units per month, if memory serves). Hyundai has just announced ramp up, and of course, the PSII will be supplied captively for some time. Thus shortage will persist for a little longer. As for INTC problems at .18, so, what is new? You know the drill, every time you reduce features, the manufacturing discipline must increase and that will continue until you get to the point that quantum fluctuations will prevent further progress (my guess it starts and shows up at .05 microns, not that far out)
