i think the recent gain has to do with pacific cyberworks leveraged buyout of hongkong telecom.
but regardless, i am still bullish on china telecom. did you know that china telecom has over 33million subscribers?

I don't know the P/E ratio, book value, etc. of this company, but if it keeps moving up, it's OK.
