I wonder whether any place in which there is no rule of law,such as Russia or China, can be a place in which to expect to make any money. Once the technology is transferred, can it possibly be fetched back, if the other side doesn't pay? And how can you check on usage? There's plenty of hanky panky in the U.S., even though it's filled with laws and lawyers let alone in somewhere where intellectual property is an unrecognized concept.
For this reason I wonder whether the China deal has any importance at all.
