X-box from Microsoft

Bill would like his Windows OS on the low cost game_system/set-top_box/internet_browser entertainment system of tomorrow. Sony Playstation II is a threat to Microsoft Windows OS, since it runs Linux and is planned to be able to access the Internet via DSL/cable (In 2001 Sony should have ISP & interactive games that people can play against one another over the Internet). Microsoft is talking to AMD and Intel to develop his answer to the Sony PS II. I would hope Microsoft is developing both an AMD and Intel X-box to then negotiate the best performance/production/deal from these companies.
