Thanks Jill, I understand now. The more volatile is the market the more money we make on puts. So we should choose a bunch of stocks that we really like and sell puts on those that have declined sharply.

Getting to the point...***there is no stopping this tech/NASDAQ rally over the long term***.

Go out a couple of months to be safe on your options if your concerned about the short term volatility, but there is enormous $$$ opportunity in the options market at the moment...provided you have patience.
