Yeah so would I....but I havent been able to find any other news organisations that have picked up the story. Since this is the week of the CTIA show, I think it's likely that their will be an announcement soon. This should be a fun week....this is probably just the first hint. If nothing else, we should be getting our first peeks at all of the new phones this year.

It's nice to see such a visible confirmation of the value-chain around Qualcomm. It'll be great to start seeing press releases touting HDR coming from companies like Lucent.

If Qualcomm's projections, that flat-fee HDR could be offered for $40 a month, come true....it is hard to imagine how big this will end up being :). Now all we need is a couple of visionary operators to get the ball rolling....

I would guess Vodafone. They worked with Qcom on a trial CDMA overlay of CDMA, and with Airtouch, they are using CDMA in the US.
