I sometimes think that something very serious has been "lost" in the translation of the label descriptions. Something that we've found very, very odd is how so many of the canned vegetables in Chinatown and the Jamaican grocery shops have label art with N.A. Indian chiefs in eagle-feather head-dresses... Don't get the significance of that AT ALL...

"Young Mutant Coconut" is a rather literal description of macapuno, a common item hereabouts. About 1 coconut in 100 ends up full of not the usual liquid, but an amorphous solid mass. Tastes good. Nothing to fear.
