I only had one dog my whole life- When I was a teenager I got an afghan hound that someone had abandoned. Older dog, and she wasn't like a REAL dog. She (for example) wouldn't do anything. No commands worked on her. She was really more like a cat- except she wasn't independent. She wanted to be waited on- totally, but she wouldn't do anything in return. She was horrible.

So Bailey (our neighbors Doberman) seemed like a completely different animal. I can understand liking dogs after Bailey.
