rudedog: Thanks for the update on the latest OEM co-op ad policies. My post was made to bring out the fact that this is common practice and even though INTC has seen fit to relax their restrictions it does not mean that this is a requirement in the business world in general. It is kind of like federal funding - if you do not want to agree to the strings attached you don't take it. INTC may figure, as you indicate, that less strings makes for more exposure but other companies may use co-op ads as an incentive especially in the case of the smaller guy who does not have the ad budget of a DELL, Gateway,HP etc. JFD
