What am I missing?

You are missing the mo-mo, Marilyn. If I am right, and the market is following this kind of Gorilla story as much as I think it is, the stock will triple or quad, then pull back if earnings disappoint.

I am starting to think that my immediate goal should be to double what I had on Feb 3rd by the end of the year, and have « of that in cash.

What I am going to do is to start looking at these stocks I am in the same way I looked at AOL two years ago. With distrust.

I will ante up, and, if the stock runs, pull my ante and let the profits run.

I am going to use my base stock position as a money making engine to produce cash. Keep the engine the same size, and pull the profits.

I think that the market is finally realizing what all of us have, that Tech is the place to be. Money is pouring out of old line companies into our Gorillas and Kings. The Headline in the LA Times this morning was on precisely this subject.

We are going to see enormous PE?s on CSCO and other top techs this year. ?Every body wants to be part of the act!? As Durante used to say.

I am not a Guru. Neither I, nor anyone else, knows how long this can last or how high it can go.

If I was 35, I would probably risk more, and plan on spending my retirement going to dances in my Lear Jet. But I am 65, and I will be more conservative, and spend my retirement going to dances in a 1st class seat on a 747. :0)
