i believe a bit too much credit is given to the power of the thread to move stocks...case in point elon. a few weeks prior to the start of this thread last year...elon spiked over 300% in a few days... the cause? at a conference, john chambers, ceo of csco, called elon the future of the smart home network. now csco comes back and gives elon's products the green light...creating another spike. i think we can blame the action on csco. but, in case i am wrong, i am looking for another possible gorilla. :o)
