I believe the old saw:

" A man is looking for a woman who will never change, and a woman is looking for a man she can change!

Ok, I made my choice: the Dell Inspiron 5000 (basically same as the 7500, but with three spindles instead of four and almost 2 lbs. lighter), with a PIII 650mz chip with speed-step technology, a 15" SXGA+ screen, 192 megs of RAM, an 18 gig hard drive, a zip drive, the 6XDVD/floppy combo, and the port replicator with ethernet connection. I've also decided to go with DSL once it gets here.

One more question: should I go with Windows2000 or Windows98?
