All, ING Barings Satellite Conference to Features Globalstar, Others By Amy Hellickson ING Barings Satellite Conference to Features Globalstar, Others New York, March 1 (Bloomberg) -- ING Barings LLC is holding a conference featuring satellite companies such as Globalstar Telecommunications Ltd., EchoStar Communications Corp., Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. and XM Satellite Radio. Company executives are expected to update analysts and investors on technology developments and financing at the securities firm's annual Global Satellite & Broadband conference today in New York. The featured speaker will be George Gilder, known for his technology analysis and stock recommendations. The Gilder Technology report is well respected on Wall Street for its recommendations of technology stocks, analysts have said. Gilder recommended buying stock in satellite-telephone company Globalstar in December, helping to send the stock up 14 percent, analysts said. Gilder also recommended buying Qualcomm Inc., the best performer in the Standard & Poor's 500 index in 1999.
